Additional examinations

We continuously test and evaluate new preventative methods and integrate them into our services. Based on individual risk factors we compile a personalized programme for each patient. Additional examinations in the course of the check-up may include:

Lung screening (low-dose CT) for smokers
Colonoscopy if you are more than 45 years old and have had no previous examination for intestinal cancer
Calcium scoring of the coronary vessels and, if necessary, a CAT or MRI artery scan
Gynaecological preventive check-up for women, including mammography
Gastroscopy by our specialist in gastroenterology in the event of upper abdominal pain
Functional check of the musculoskeletal system by orthopaedists in the event of spine or joint pain
Bone mineral density measurement by the Hamburg Osteoporosis Centre (Osteoporosezentrum Hamburg)
Personalized dietary consultation, for example on weight reduction, including creation of your own personal training programme
Dental examination, clarifying possible interactions with orthopaedic or ear, nose and throat diseases
Examination of ears, nose, throat and larynx, and allergy test
Neurological examination, for example to establish and analyse the causes of headaches, migraines and dizziness
Psychological consultations regarding sleep disorders, stress management and relaxation methods
Brain check to test memory and concentration
